Not bad, not great.

I bought a 2016 corolla LE new last year with 5 miles on the odometer. One month later my wife and I took it on a road trip across the country and back. The car performed great and gas mileage was as advertised. Fast forward several months later and while driving to work a small rock flew off a dump truck and penetrated my grill and out a hole in my AC condenser. Toyota didnt cover it under warranty so I had to get it repaired myself. Not the cars fault but Ive never had that happen with any other car. I went problem free for awhile until I heard a banging sound coming from my rear brakes. It took toyota two weekends to replicate the sound and figure out that I needed new rear brake shoes. They covered it but at 23000 miles no car should need that repair. And I dont drive it hard. Another complaint is the climate control system. It makes a strange sound like the sound of a cd player when you change tracks. Its a slight buzzing sound and it comes from behind the glove box. Its pretty annoying and very random. Toyota had no answer and couldnt find anything wrong so it is what it is. The climate control also has an auto mode but sometimes even if the auto selection isnt turned on it will adjust the fan speed and fan location as if it is turned on. That too is random. The cloth seats are just okay. They stain very easily and are a bit hard to sit on. I will say as a grown man I have plenty of leg room and no problems with seating. In fact, the rear seats almost feel like a mid sized sedan. So good on toyota for adequately sized seating. Driving the vehicle is downright boring but I didnt buy it to have fun, I bought it to commute in. Gas mileage is good and you can get 40 mpg on the highway if you drive conservatively. If youre looking for a decent car to commute in and for a cheap price Id definitely give it a look. It has modern standard features and its overall a solid vehicle. - 5.0

from day one and as an owner of previous vehicles of the same brand they have no likeness for reliability. this car gave us a 50mpg rating on flatland through Arkansas on the way to Pennsylvania. Not only that but I only had to steer, no braking, nor headlight dimming/brightening, no gas pedal,etc. all because this car can do it all and more for you! I know many want crazy power under the hood or are loyal to what brand they like. until youve owned on of these amazing cars/trucks or vans its hard to express just how reliable they are even at 200k, 300k or more miles. they just keep performing with little upkeep. theyve made this model for 50 years now and its no joke. the only way to describe it is its amazing! - 5.0

I bought the 2015 S plus model and the car has been amazing. It is the perfect commuter car. Its not the fastest, but the car is actually fun to drive and handles very well. I have no regrets for buying this car over others.
